STUDENTS' VOICES: Directions to School well-being

Today, we had a zoom meeting with our partners, Italy, Serbia and Romania. We declared the topic beforehand to all our students. The topic was "Happiness at school ". The students prepared some questions about the topic. My students (Türkiye) were very excited.😊 They took some notes about the things which they would say as answers. Luminita was ill. So she couldn't attend the meeting but some of her students were in the meeting. It was a nice experince for all of us.

 

Our students had a discussion about the topic "Preferred teacher's qualities ".  Türkiye, Italy, Poland, Romania and Serbia attended the meeting. Before the meeting, students prepared some questions about "preferred teacher's qualities ". Then, they shared these questions with eachother. At the meeting, they asked and answered the questions. The students were enthusiastic and the meeting was enjoyable.

 Our students met for the first time! It was very exciting for all of them. They introduced themselves and talked about their hobbies and interests. They all talked in English. Some of them were not advanced in English but if was fun anyway :) They all enjoyed the meeting. Next time, they will talk about some specific topics about well being at school. They are looking forward to the next meeting ;)

Hemijsko-tehnološka škola "Božidar Đorđević Kukar" ( School for Chemistry and Technology 'Bozidar Djordjevic Kukar' ) is one of the partners on this project. Our school is located in a beautiful city, Leskovac, located in the south of Republic of Serbia, and worldwide known as place where you can eat the best barbecue and ajvar :) One of the first tasks in this project was to prepare suggestions for the project logo. This was a fun and inspirational task in which students had the opportunity to show creativity and their vision of working on well-being in school. The Leskovac team prepared seven excellent proposals, and since we couldn't decide on our own which one to submit as the Serbian representative for the final selection, we sought help from other students and teachers by asking them to vote in a Google questionnaire.                                                FIRST TEACHERS' MEETING Hello, I am Havva and I am the founder of this project. We are 5 partners who are from Türkiye, Italy(Co-founder), Serbia, Romania and Poland.We had our first meeting. It was very good and exciting.  We introduced ourselves and talked about the activities which we were going to do. Our project is about well-being at school. We shared some tasks. So that, we will work collaboratively. I think we will be a great team!
